Hello, Welcome and meet Friktion....
Friktion is based out of Sioux Falls, SD. the do their own original songs, as well as top 40 covers. They are a high-energy band! The thing that I find most cool about them as that they do actively perform at non-alcoholic functions! If you check their tour schedule, you'll see they play teen centers, etc... How many bands can say this?

Sander-Lead Singer-Age ??-Home, Sioux Falls, SD
Born in Iowa, has lived in SF 8 yrs.
CHAD GARRAN PLISKA-born in Sheldon Iowa, 9/17/69, moved to south dakota at the ripe age of 9 months, attended garfield elementary, oscar howe elementary, edison junior high, graduated from the old washington high (class of 87), moved to seattle in october 92' then moved back to sioux falls in march 93'...
MUSICAL FACTS-first instrument was the trumpet, then switched to snaredrum in 8th grade, taught myself how to play the drumset from watching mtv, got first set of drums as a christmas present in 10th grade, joined first fulltime band (lush band) on 18th birthday, quit after 2nd gig cause the others in the band drank better than they played (thats why I can only remember the name as the lush band). Met Curt "Bo turdis" at a party in winter of 89', then joined the band he was in called the Take, & played with them for three years. Other bands I've been in are as follows-Granite city, Ballistic, & Jambone*. Most of these were just different lineups of the same core of the Take.
MUSICAL INFLUENCES-KISS, DONNY OSMOND, MOTLEY CRUE, U2, TOM PETTY, CHEAP TRICK, JOE WALSH (WITHOUT THE EAGLES)-PRETTY MUCH ANYTHING THAT WAS ON THE RADIO. DRUMMERS THAT INFLUENCED ME-TOMMY LEE, LARRY MULLEN JR., BUN E CARLOS, PETER CRIS, ERIC CARR, JEFF KOELLER, JEFF KELLER.

*Chad was in Jammbone with Michelle Russell, Curt's wife.
Michelle asked him to play with her and got James and Sander
"hooked up" with Chad before he was in Friktion.
